This desiccator has a transparent PC cover and PP base that will not shatter. Desiccator body is impervious to all solid desiccants, including acids** and alkalies. Desiccator takes any standard 230-mm desiccator plate. Desiccator is autoclavable. **DO NOT use concentrated acids as desiccants.
