The Hamilton 7000 Series Microliter Syringes can be used for GC, TLC, and micro-volume fluid transfers. The needle contains the full capacity of the syringe. The tungsten plunger wire travels inside the needle, dispensing 100% of the sample when fully depressed. A sealing ferrule at the junction of the needle/glass barrel can be tightened to ensure injection pressures up to 6000 psig. Available with point style #2 (22 bevel) or point style #3 (90 bevel), both point styles work equally well for septum piercing (depending on your preference). Pipetting and micro-volume transfers are best accomplished with point style #3. Replacement parts (needles, plunger wires, sealing ferrules, glass barrels, etc.) are field replaceable. Syringe not recommended for viscous fluids or samples. These Hamilton syringes can be ordered with a Certificate of Calibration. The Certificate of Calibration will be provided with the product and the procedure is performed with an unbroken chain of calibrations traceable to N.I.S.T. Please request at time of purchase.
