The Hamilton 800 Series Microliter syringes exhibit the same handcrafted, precision-fitted characteristics of the 700 Series Microliter (S7905) syringes. These syringes, with their extended metal handles, provide a number of additional benefits and applications over the S7905 syringes. The extended metal handle: improves the balance and handling characteristics; allows use in applications when sampling from test tubes or long-necked flasks; gives finer control of plunger movement and prevents plunger blow-out under high pressures with its adjustable plunger resistance (drag); reduces plunger bending and acts as a guide for the fragile plunger with its strengthened plunger stem; and allows replacement of barrel/plunger assemblies into reusable metal handle, allowing for immediate field repairs. Maximum temperature for Cemented Needle 50° C (122° F) and Removable Needle 115° C (239° F). Maximum pressure rating is 2000 psig except for 250¬µL which is 1000 psig. These Hamilton syringes can be ordered with a Certificate of Calibration.
