The Argos BioSafe pipette is a standard serological pipette with a unique barrier filter. If over-aspiration occurs with BioSafe pipettes, liquid is "locked" and unable to pass through to filter. Similar in theory to a barrier pipette tip, BioSafe pipettes provide sample integrity while promoting user safety. It also protects electronic pipettors from contamination and cross contaminating samples by over aspiration.
