These Series O soft shell heating mantles for round-bottom flasks come paired with the PowrTrol power control as a special, economical package. The PowrTrol is a solid-state, proportional-voltage control that provides precise manual control of the output range. It is adjustable from 5-100%. The standard Series O mantles are expressly designed for round-bottom flasks from 50 mL to 5,000 mL in both 115V and 230V. Series O mantles are made of flexible fabric and represent one of the most economical ways to safely heat chemicals in the lab. It should be used with a support. The fabric interior cushions the glassware to reduce the chance of breakage. The mantles are designed to withstand an internal operating temperature of 450°C (842° F).
