Nunc-Immuno Tubes are used for IRMA, ELISA and ILMA techniques. Tubes are made of polystyrene or polyethylene with modified surfaces: MaxiSorp surface has excellent affinity to immunoglobulins and similar proteins. PolySorp surface is recommended for the absorption of less polar molecules, e.g. certain viral antigens and lipids. This surface may reduce high background readings associated with viral and cellular lysates. MiniSorp tubes are molded from a special formulation of polyethylene. The tubes exhibit very low affinity for proteins. MiniSorp tubes can reduce nonspecific absorption, compared to ordinary glass or plastic tubes. Tubes are 12 x 75mm, 5mL capacity.
